Student Careers Night 2011 : Our 2011 student careers evening, held on 20 September, attracted nearly 100 undergraduate students studying health promotion subjects from La Trobe, Monash and Deakin universities. The evening provided students with an insight into a variety of health promotion career opportunities and the opportunity to hear from a number of professionals currently working in those areas, including great tips to help secure that first position. This event grows each year and is considered an important activity by the Victorian Branch to help bridge the gaps between studying and employment for newly graduated heath promotion professionals.
